I was freaked out at first with all the tastes like manure reviews cuz don’t nobody wanna drink manure but I decided to try it anyway. It smells and tastes like barnyard hay, very earthy and grassy tasting. So I’m guessing this is the manure note some complained about. It doesn’t really have a strong fishy ocean taste to it. Tastes just like every other nasty herb. But I’m not taking this for the taste and I only use a little bit of it. About 1/4 tsp with water holding my nose and taking it like a shot. There’s not a form of any chlorella I can take a full teaspoon of without gagging. They all taste gross. But it helps my gut balance tremendously. On that note I haven’t really noticed any difference compared to my cheaper organic brands yet. And I noticed the expiration date is less than a year But all in all I can handle it just fine.

Also.. you have to REALLY be careful if on ANY medications from your Dr as this could cause an effect.For me. I am on seizure med and heart med-nitro glycerin and I should have listened to my Dr as it made me very manic. Upset my stomach. Just a horrible experience. Only bc I was on medication. Other than this. This is a great source of nutrients and great for loosing weight- not for me.. at 5'7 & 109lbs.

Although this is a newer company to me, I bought two other products before the chlorella. When I wanted to buy chlorella, I went there, because of the quality of the products. It is deep green. It has a powerful vibe. I have used other Chlorella powders. None like this. Of course, the taste is definitely chlorella, very strong. I mix it with other powders, usually chocolate, and then I use a frother to mix it. I feel it is really helping, my digestive system, and detoxification overall. My mom put me on to this years ago. I’ve been drinking this since a kid. Not gonna lie the taste isn’t great but that’s fine because I always drink it with orange juice or in my smoothies. For me it acts as a meal replacement and helps me go to the bathroom smoother.
