Feed Your Gut Cells & Fuel Your Metabolism*

GLP-Pre is formulated with essential prebiotics that act as food for GLP-1 producing cells in the gut. As the prebiotics are fermented within the gut they help fuel natural GLP-1 production.

The prebiotic complex supports the growth of beneficial probiotics and the production of Short Chain Fatty Acids (SCFAs), which helps maintain healthy GLP-1 function.*

SolNul® R2

Starch
As these fibers ferment in the gut, Short Chain Fatty Acids (SCFAs)—including butyrate, propionate, and acetate—are produced. These SCFAs help support normal gut function and may nurture the cells (including L-cells) responsible for healthy GLP-1 activity.*

The fermentation process can promote a balanced gut environment and help maintain healthy levels of key probiotic strains, like Bifidobacterium and Akkermansia. These beneficial microbes are closely tied to overall digestive well-being and may support normal L-cell function.*

Emerging research suggests that Akkermansia in particular helps support the gut lining—where L-cells reside—which is associated with optimal digestive and metabolic health.*

PreticX®
(Xylooligosaccharides
(XOS))
XOS is known to support the production of Short Chain Fatty Acids (SCFAs)—including butyrate, propionate, and acetate—during the fermentation process.* These SCFAs help nurture cells in the gut (including L-cells), which are linked to healthy GLP-1 function as part of normal metabolic processes.*

XOS is considered a powerful prebiotic because it helps maintain healthy levels of the probiotic Bifidobacterium, which may be associated with normal L-cell health.* L-cells play a role in the body’s natural digestive and metabolic balance.*

Preliminary research suggests that XOS may help support healthy blood sugar levels already within the normal range and promote normal insulin sensitivity.* These factors are important aspects of overall metabolic wellness, especially when combined with a balanced diet and regular activity.*

Beta-Glucan Complex
Beta-glucans help foster the growth of beneficial probiotic families such as Lactobacillus, which can further support SCFA production.* In turn, these SCFAs contribute to a balanced gut environment, beneficial for overall digestive and metabolic well-being.*

As beta-glucans are fermented in the gut, they produce SCFAs that can help support L-cells and normal GLP-1 activity.* Emerging research indicates that beta-glucans may also play a role in helping maintain a healthy gut lining, potentially supporting the environment in which L-cells thrive.*

Some research suggests that beta-glucans may promote the growth of more gut cells, including L-cells. This could lead to an increased number of L-cells in the gut.*

Our Diets Are Deficient In Prebiotic Fibers Needed for Optimal Metabolic Health
Many Americans fall short of the recommended daily intake of fiber, especially non-digestible fibers needed to fuel our gut microbiome & Short Chain Fatty Acid production. This deficiency can negatively affect gut health and may impact normal metabolic processes.

Adequate fiber intake is essential for a healthy metabolism; it supports beneficial gut bacteria, Short Chain Fatty Acid production , helps maintain healthy blood sugar levels already within the normal range, promotes a feeling of fullness, and supports natural GLP-1 function.*

The One-Two Punch in Fueling Natural GLP-1
The One-Two Punch in Fueling Natural GLP-1 GLP-Pre provides targeted gut support that supports the production of healthy probiotic bacteria and short chain fatty acids. By targeting the production of Short Chain Fatty Acids and beneficial gut bacteria, GLP-Pre can deliver a natural metabolic boost as part of a balanced diet and lifestyle.*

SolNul® R2 Resistant Starch

Unlike regular starches, which are broken down and absorbed in the small intestine, R2 resistant starch resists digestion and reaches the large intestine, where it acts as a prebiotic and is fermented by beneficial gut bacteria. This process results in the production of short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), such as butyrate, acetate, and propionate, which play a key role in maintaining gut health and enhancing metabolic processes.

In a recent randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial, Solnul demonstrated significant improvements in gut microbiome composition by increasing the abundance of beneficial bacteria, including a substantial rise in Akkermansia levels. A clinical study on Solnul demonstrated a significant increase in beneficial bacteria, including Akkermansia. This species is associated with gut barrier function and healthy metabolic processes.*

Unlike many prebiotic fibers that require high intake levels, Solnul delivers a significant prebiotic effect with just 3.5 grams per day. Moreover, Solnul is well-tolerated compared to some other prebiotics, which can cause gastrointestinal discomfort at higher doses.

PreticX® Xylooligosaccharides (XOS)

PreticX, a prebiotic fiber derived from xylooligosaccharides (XOS), is clinically proven to be highly effective at a dose of 1 gram. Clinical studies conducted at UCLA have demonstrated that PreticX can significantly improve gut health by enhancing the growth of beneficial gut bacteria, such as Bifidobacterium, while reducing harmful bacteria at 1 gram dose.

XOS, plays a vital role in boosting short-chain fatty acid (SCFA) production. It selectively nourishes beneficial gut bacteria, especially Bifidobacterium, which ferments XOS to produce key SCFAs like butyrate, propionate, and acetate.

One of the notable features of PreticX is its ability to decrease the Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes ratio in the gut, which is often associated with metabolic health and weight management. This shift in the gut microbiota is particularly beneficial for individuals who are overweight or have impaired glucose metabolism, as balanced gut flora is crucial for overall metabolic health and digestion. Additionally, PreticX has been shown to support healthy digestion by increasing the population of Bifidobacteria.

GLP-Pre® Mushroom Beta-Glucan Complex

Lions Mane Extract | Cordycep Extract | Reishi Extract

Optimized for 70% (1,3)/(1,6) Beta Glucans

Our premium organic mushroom complex is optimized for 70% concentrations of (1,3)/(1,6) Beta Glucans. These potent polysaccharides act as a prebiotic within the gut. Beta-glucans have been shown to indirectly stimulate L-cells in the gut, which are responsible for secreting GLP-1. These specialized cells are activated when beta-glucans are fermented by beneficial gut bacteria, creating metabolites that trigger L-cell activity. This can lead to an increase in natural GLP-1.

The (1,3)/(1,6) Beta Glucans in our mushroom complex are fermented by gut bacteria to produce short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), such as butyrate, acetate, and propionate. These SCFAs, particularly butyrate, have been shown to stimulate L-cells, leading to increased GLP-1.

(1,3)/(1,6) beta-glucans are selectively fermented by beneficial gut bacteria, including Lactobacillus. This selectivity provides Lactobacillus with a sustained source of energy and nutrients to proliferate and thrive. One of the unique properties of (1,3)/(1,6) beta-glucans is their slow fermentation rate, which allows for extended fermentation along the entire length of the colon, including the distal regions. Unlike more rapidly fermenting fibers, these beta-glucans provide a prolonged supply of nutrients, fostering the continued growth of Lactobacillus throughout the colon. This slow and steady fermentation helps maintain higher populations of Lactobacillus and other beneficial microbes over a longer period.

Our mushroom complex is derived from the highest quality, organically grown US mushrooms. These nutrient dense mushrooms are then taken through a cutting edge, chemical free, ultrasonic extraction method that is able to achieve a 70% concentration of the key active nutrients, (1,3)/(1,6) beta-glucans.

The Complex Combines:

  • Lion's Mane Extract
  • Reishi Extract
  • Cordyceps Extract
