Can I give it alongside other vitamins?

Is this related to the prescription form?

L-Methylfolate Kids is a dietary supplement, not a drug, and we don't position it as a substitute for any prescription. Its active ingredient is L-methylfolate, a body-ready form of folate, delivered in a kid-friendly, berry-flavored, age-specific drop with active B12, B6 and B2 alongside it. Talk to your child's clinician about what's right for them.

What about seizures?

L-methylfolate can affect seizure threshold. If your child has a seizure disorder or epilepsy, talk to your clinician before starting. We print this caution on the box and on this page, and we won't bury it.

How should I store it, and what if the color varies?

Store at room temperature, out of direct sunlight — no refrigeration needed. As a clean, natural formula, the color can vary slightly batch to batch and may settle a little between uses; just shake well before each dose.

Should I give this or Kids Methylfolate — or both?

Kids Folinic and L-Methylfolate Kids support the folate pathway in two different ways. Some children do well on one; some benefit from both. Your child's clinician can help you decide what fits.

How do I dose it by age?

Age-specific servings: roughly 10 drops (~0.25 mL) for ages 1–3, 20 drops (~0.5 mL) for ages 4–13, and 30 drops (~0.75 mL) for ages 14–18. Shake well; give straight or in a drink. Start low and work up with your clinician.

What's in it — and what's not?
